• Practicing as a Consultant Psychiatrist for last 42 years at Vijayawada and Director of a 50 bedded hospital for Psychological diseases “Indlas” at Vijayawada, recognised for D.N.B., P.G. Medical Course in Psychiatry for last 15 years by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
• Director of Indlas Child Guidance Clinic (ICGC) at Mumbai, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Director of Indlas Shantivan, a 120 bedded Rehab and Deaddiction Centre at Nunna, Vijayawada Rural, the only one of its kind in Andhra Pradesh State.

• Received ‘Kinnera Ugadi Puraskaram for 2001’ at Hyderabad for the Excellent services in the field of Mental Health, honoured by the then Speaker of Lok Sabha Late Sri G.M.C. Balayogi.

• He is the first Telugu Doctor to be elected as the National President of Indian Psychiatric Society in 2007 in 60 years of its History.
• He is the FIRST INDIAN PSYCHIATRIST to be elected as the President of SAARC Countries Psychiatric Federation.
• He was elected as the President of Indian Medical Association (I.M.A), Vijayawada in 2013.
• He was conferred the Title of “Mano Vignana Vibhushan” by the Hon’ble Speaker of A.P.Assembly,Sri K.R.Suresh Reddy in Vijayawada in 2006.

Social Service:

• Toured different parts of Telangana to educate the people against the myth of sensational “Banamati”(Black Magic) fears.
• Conducted many free Mental Health Camps at various rural places where there are no mental health facilities and treated many patients.
• Organising “Mano – Bandhu” program for Wandering and Homeless mentally ill and reuniting them with their families after adequate treatment. Persuading the state government to provide shelter homes for the homeless mentally in different regions of Andhra Pradesh.
• Addressed many schools and colleges in the state to counsel and motivate the students.

Mental Health Education and removal of stigma to Mental Illness :

• All these years he has been struggling hard to educate the people about Mental Health and Mental illness.
• He will be remembered forever for popularising Psychiatry and Mental Health in the states of A.P and Telangana, and many young doctors took Psychiatry as a Profession being motivated by Dr. Indla.
• Regular columnist in many of the Telugu and English Magazines.
• Written Nine Books in Telugu on Mental Health, the first of their kind in Telugu namely ‘Maanasaveena, Mano Darpanam, Manasuku Jabbulostaai, Manasika Samasyalu Samadhanalu, Youth Today, ‘Emotional Intelligence’ and ‘Youth Psychology’ etc.
• The most popular Telugu periodical ‘Swati’ has published his regular column for continuous five years. Another Telugu weekly ‘Andhra Jyoti’ has published his feature for 250 weeks regularly.
• Regular talker in All India Radio & Electronic Media. Acted in T.V. serials as a Psychiatrist.
• His wife Smt. Radha Reddy, Ph.D in Journalism from Sri Venkateswara University.
• His First son Dr. Vishal Reddy who is a Gold Medalist in M.D. in Psychiatry from NIMHANS, Bangalore, and practicing along with his father
