He was the national president of Indian Psychiatric Society and SAARC Psychiatric Federation. He is a well published author with many articles in indexed Psychiatric Journals and popular Magazines. He is the recepient of Eminent Faculty Award from NBE. He has received multiple state government awards. He recently received Honorary Doctorate D.S.c for his contribution in mental health by SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY, TIRUPATHI.
Dr. Vishal Indla completed M.D Psychiatry in NIMHANS. He was the best out going student of his batch and is a gold medal recipient. He is the former president Indian Pschiatric Society AP Chapter. He is a well established author. He is passionate about teaching. He is an excellent orator and also gave a TED Talk.
Indlas Hospitals was started 42 years ago as Prashanti Hospital at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh by Dr. Indla Ramasubba Reddy.
